About Barney
The Barney School of Business is one of 7 Colleges within the University of Hartford offering 7 undergraduate and 3 graduate degree programs in business.
Our "No-Hassle" graduate programs were designed with working professionals in mind. Textbooks and university fees are included in the per course tuition. Textbooks will be distributed on the first night of class. University IDs, computer/internet accounts, and parking permits are available during the first week of classes each semester. Faculty advisors from each department are on hand each evening during the first week to assist students.
The University is an independent, comprehensive institution of higher learning offering educational and career programs in 86 undergraduate majors and 57 graduate programs of study in its nine schools and colleges. It emphasizes quality teaching complemented by scholarly and creative expression and dedicated community service. It currently enrolls nearly 7,000 graduate and undergraduate students, representing 47 states and 66 foreign countries. The student-to-faculty ratio is 13-to-1, with educational experiences taking place in small, supportive classroom environments.
